Business Post Global Trade Summit 2025

in association with Deloitte

July 15, 2025

Euronext Dublin

The Business Post Global Trade Summit, in association with Deloitte, will bring together Ireland’s top executives and policymakers for a future-focused discussion, examining the direction of the geopolitical landscape and how to build organisational resilience in a changing world.

The summit comes at a time of uncertainty, with trade negotiations still ongoing and a renewed focus on European competitiveness for inclusive and sustainable economic growth. Against this backdrop, the summit will serve as a pivotal forum for Ireland's leaders to forge durable solutions that can build organisational resilience.

The agenda will feature panel discussions with industry leaders from Pharma, Consumer, FMCG, Financial Services, and Tech sectors. Additionally, Tánaiste Simon Harris will engage in a fireside chat during the event.

The discussions will be practical and focus on three areas: EU Competitiveness, Business Resilience, Ireland's Innovation.

  • EU Competitiveness: will address the EU's competitive agenda, focusing on the findings from the Future of European Competitiveness: Report by Mario Draghi, and exploring the global trade landscape and its implications for both indigenous and multinational companies in Ireland
  • Business Resilience: will explore how businesses can build resilience in a time of shifting geopolitics, tightening capital markets, and revised trade agreements.
  • Ireland's Innovation: will provide an analysis of Ireland's innovation strategy, focusing on embedding itself at the core of European innovation while maintaining agility. Key topics will include workforce readiness, regulatory balance, and leadership in R&D and emerging technologies.
