Michael Lohan is the Chief Executive Officer of IDA Ireland, the state agency responsible for attracting and developing foreign direct investment to support Ireland’s economic and social growth.
As CEO, Michael leads the delivery of IDA Ireland’s strategy Driving Recovery and Sustainable Growth 2021–2024, with a focus on five core pillars: Growth, Transformation, Regions, Sustainability, and Impact.
Prior to his appointment, he served on IDA’s Executive Leadership Team with global responsibility for Life Sciences and as organisational lead for the agency’s Talent, Transformation, and Innovation agenda shaping Ireland’s strategic position in biopharmaceuticals, medical technologies, and high-value innovation.
