Simon McKeever has been Chief Executive of the Irish Exporters Association (IEA) since 2013. He leads the organisation’s policy and advocacy work across areas including market diversification, sustainable trade, competitiveness and trade compliance, representing exporters at national and EU level.
Under his leadership, the IEA has strengthened its role as the leading voice for Irish exporters, engaging directly with Ministers, senior officials and EU decision-makers on the issues shaping international trade.
Prior to joining the IEA, Simon served as Director of Trade and Investment at the British Embassy in Dublin, where he helped drive UK-Ireland trade strategy, supported collaboration with Enterprise Ireland, and was instrumental in establishing the British Irish Chamber of Commerce.
