Daryl Byrne

CEO, Euronext

Daryl Byrne is CEO of Euronext Dublin and a member of the Managing Board of Euronext N.V. Daryl joined Euronext Dublin (formerly the Irish Stock Exchange plc) in 2000 and, prior to becoming CEO of Euronext Dublin in 2018, held several senior management roles, including Head of Regulation, Head of Strategy Planning and Brand, and Head of Corporate Listing and Policy. Daryl is a member of the Irish Funds Council and participates on the Balance for Better Business Advisory Group. He was previously the Chairman of Centevo AB and a board member of MTS. He participated on the ESMA Corporate Finance Standing Committee Consultative Working Group, the European Corporate Governance Codes Network, the Irish REITs Forum and the Company Law Review Group. Daryl is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, and holds a Bachelor in Business Studies degree from Trinity College Dublin.

Caoimhe Buckley

Caoimhe Buckley is the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Fyffes. C-suite, stakeholder citizenship and communications expert with over 20 years of international experience in sustainability, reputation transformation, government, public policy and community relations, leading digital transformation of internal and external communications and marketing. She has led large, diverse multinational teams and worked in various sectors globally.

Simon McKeever

Chief Executive, Irish Exporters Association (IEA)

Simon McKeever has been Chief Executive of the Irish Exporters Association (IEA) since 2013. He leads the organisation’s policy and advocacy work across areas including market diversification, sustainable trade, competitiveness and trade compliance, representing exporters at national and EU level. Under his leadership, the IEA has strengthened its role as the leading voice for Irish exporters, engaging directly with Ministers, senior officials and EU decision-makers on the issues shaping international trade. Prior to joining the IEA, Simon served as Director of Trade and Investment at the British Embassy in Dublin, where he helped drive UK-Ireland trade strategy, supported collaboration with Enterprise Ireland, and was instrumental in establishing the British Irish Chamber of Commerce.

Louise Kelly

Global Trade and Business Resilience Lead, Deloitte

As Global Trade Strategy and Resilience Lead, Louise Kelly has been leading Deloitte Ireland clients through a fast-changing global landscape shaped by geopolitical uncertainty, regulatory shifts and fractured supply chains. She also heads up a dedicated cross-functional taskforce focused on helping clients turn the challenges of global trade tensions into new strategic opportunities and competitive advantage. With more than 20 years of experience in cross-border investment, tax strategy, and transformation, Louise’s focus is on supporting both FDI and domestic clients as they navigate a fast-changing trade and policy environment.

Chief Economist, Deloitte

Prior to joining Deloitte, Kate served as the Chief Economist, Head of Research & Insights at Economist with Cushman & Wakefield Ireland and held the position of Senior Economist with Sherry FitzGerald. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and French from University College Cork.

Mark McGreevy

CEO, Collen

Mark McGreevy (FRICS, FCICES, MIoD) is the Chief Executive Officer of Collen, one of Ireland’s longest-established and largest Tier 1 construction and engineering groups, delivering major projects across Ireland and Europe. With nearly three decades of senior leadership experience in the built environment, he has overseen complex, multi-billion-euro programmes spanning infrastructure, advanced industrial facilities, data centres, commercial developments and residential assets. Throughout his career, Mark has held board-level commercial and operational roles with leading Tier 1 contracting groups in Ireland and internationally. He has led large business units through periods of strategic growth, organisational transition and major programme delivery. His work has consistently centred on the infrastructure sector — transport, utilities, industrial and mission-critical technology assets — blending strong commercial discipline with deep operational expertise.

Peter Burke

Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment of Ireland, Fine Gael

Peter Burke is Ireland’s Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment. He previously served as the Minister of State for European Affairs and Defence, and the Minister of State for Local Government and Planning in the Irish Government. Before being appointed to government, Peter sat on the Oireachtas Finance and Public Accounts Committees and has been a frequent media commentator on tax and financial issues. He was born in Mullingar, Ireland and attended National University of Ireland, Galway where he studied Commerce. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession with ten years’ experience in the private sector. Peter served as a Councillor on Westmeath County Council from 2007 until he was elected to the Dáil in 2016. He is married to Olivia and they have two young sons, Leo and Ted. Recently, Minister Burke launched the Government’s Action Plan on Competitiveness and Productivity, spearheaded Ireland’s new tourism policy, A New Era for Irish Tourism, and advanced Ireland’s first ever Semiconductor Strategy – Silicon Island. He has a particular focus on scaling indigenous enterprise, the promotion of innovation in Ireland’s business ecosystem and advancing artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in the Irish economy.

Michael Lohan is the Chief Executive Officer of IDA Ireland, the state agency responsible for attracting and developing foreign direct investment to support Ireland’s economic and social growth. As CEO, Michael leads the delivery of IDA Ireland’s strategy Driving Recovery and Sustainable Growth 2021–2024, with a focus on five core pillars: Growth, Transformation, Regions, Sustainability, and Impact. Prior to his appointment, he served on IDA’s Executive Leadership Team with global responsibility for Life Sciences and as organisational lead for the agency’s Talent, Transformation, and Innovation agenda shaping Ireland’s strategic position in biopharmaceuticals, medical technologies, and high-value innovation.

Muireann Lynch

Senior Research Officer, Economic and Social Research Institute

Muireann Lynch is a Senior Research Officer in the Economic Analysis division of the Economic and Social Research Institute. Muireann holds a degree in Mathematics and Economics from Trinity College Dublin and a PhD from the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering in UCD. She has published numerous research articles in diverse areas of energy economics and has co-authored submissions to various public consultations and Government Departments. Muireann is Research Area Coordinator for Energy in the ESRI, a funded investigator with the MaREI SFI Research Centre and is Deputy Director of the SFI-funded NexSys Partnership. Muireann’s research interests include electricity market regulation, power system economics and renewable generation integration and her research methodologies include stochastic mathematical programming, optimisation and game theory. Her research is funded by the ESRI’s Energy Policy Research Centre, Science Foundation Ireland, the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, the European Commission and the Gas Innovation Fund

Kieran O’Neill

Kieran is a partner in Technology & Transformation, in the Enterprise Technology and Performance Portfolio, with 18 years’ experience in public sector transformation. His career has focused on leading complex, digitally-enabled business transformation across public services with a specific emphasis on Policing, Security, Justice and Defence sectors in Ireland and the UK. Kieran holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Information Technology and holds a number of industry qualifications and memberships.

Shane Kelly

Corporate Relations Director, Diageo

Shane Kelly serves as Corporate Affairs Director for Diageo in Ireland where he leads government relations, communications, and public policy. His work focuses on creating the conditions for business growth across multiple markets through effective engagement with governments, regulators, and industry partners. During his Diageo career he held senior roles across Ireland, Europe, and Global Travel Retail. These positions involved work across Europe, Asia, and global markets during periods of regulatory change and economic disruption, including post pandemic recovery. Shane is a member of the Diageo Ireland executive team, and serves as non-executive director on a number of external boards.

Joanna Murphy

CEO, Sprintax

Joanna Murphy is the Chief Executive Officer of Sprintax, a leading tax compliance platform for nonresidents, trusted by universities, employers, and international investors globally. She also serves as CEO of Taxback and the Irish Diaspora Loan Fund (IDLF)—all part of the CluneTech group. Joanna joined the group in 2013, initially leading the growth strategy for Connect Ireland. In 2017, she co-founded the IDLF to support diaspora-led investment in Ireland. Since becoming CEO of Taxback in 2019, she has overseen the expansion of its international services, particularly in the U.S. through Sprintax. Joanna is responsible for leading the corporate direction and strategic vision for the group, driving business expansion, and enabling a team of entrepreneurial senior managers to deliver excellence in technology and service to a global customer base.’

Carol Gibbons

Global Head, Client Solutions, Enterprise Ireland

Carol Gibbons is Divisional Manager and Head of Regions and Local Enterprise, for Enterprise Ireland, a Government Agency responsible for the growth of Irish-owned businesses in global markets. Prior to this, Carol held a number of senior sector positions, spanning a 20-year career across Government Agencies. Before her time in Ireland Carol spent a number of years working in Research and Development in London and the U.S. with a view to commercialising research. Carol has considerable experience in a variety of industry sectors, most notably the ICT sector, where she has worked directly with some of Ireland’s best-known ICT brands, from very early stage startup companies, right through to globally trading multi-national ICT businesses. Carol was a Senior Investment Advisor and has managed a portfolio of clients in Enterprise Ireland’s commercial evaluation division and Enterprise Ireland’s equity department, one of the largest equity portfolios in Europe, in terms of deal flow.
